The mild-mannered Spade blends in with the other nondescript family hatches and small minivans ferrying kids around and picking up groceries.

This urban mom-pleaser hits 60 in 3 seconds on its way to a top speed of 180 MPH… straight down. Or rather, not quite straight down — as it twists and dances along the way. Good job it’s buddies over at Skydive.tv know what they’re doing.

Don’t want to get whacked by an errant fender at 2000 feet.

And in case you’re concerned, fret not: Our friend Spade has been fitted with a parachute and makes a semi-gentle landing on the desert floor. Gentle enough anyway to take a final drive-by bow at the end of the making of video.

The Spade went on sale on July 23rd in Japan with prices starting at 1.45 million Yen
