2015 Nissan Juke Spied in Testing Ahead of Geneva Debut
We all know that the 2014 Chicago Auto Show is later this week, but this story is one that we just had to get in on, even though it’s about a car we won’t see for at least another month. In fact, that’s precisely why we’re covering it now – we’ve just seen unofficial spyshots of the 2015 Nissan Juke, and we wanted you to be the first to know.
Apparently, the spy photos were taken while the new Nissan Juke was doing some live testing around Spain’s Jerez Circuit. The next Nissan Juke isn’t slated to go on sale until sometime in June, so this is actually a pretty big leak. The car is scheduled to make its world debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show next March.
So, what’s new in next year’s version of the ever-popular Nissan Juke?
Well, honestly, not all that much. At least from what we can tell right now. For comparison, here’s the 2014 Nissan Juke as it stands right now:
It’s hard to see any noteworthy changes. But they’re there.
For starters, the front bumper has been slightly modified; it’s more pinched in the new version, and also looks like it features some new air intakes and a revised front air dam. In addition, the grille has been reshaped to fit the aesthetic themes we saw in the Nissan Sport Sedan Concept last month in Detroit. That means its smaller and V-shaped.
It also looks like the wheel arches may have been altered in some way, and there may also be some new headlights underneath all that camouflage, although it’s difficult to tell for sure.
From the back, it’s clear from the camouflage that some changes have been made, but again, it’s difficult to put your finger on exactly what those changes are. As far as we can tell, it looks as if the rear bumper has been beefed up, possibly with larger taillights and a smaller rear spoiler.
Okay, so maybe this story wasn’t quite as thrilling as we initially made it out to be, but nonetheless, you now know what to expect from the 2015 Nissan Juke.
