End of 2011 & Start of 2012 Car Auction Schedule
We are rapidly approaching the end of 2011, and as usual the auctions will be closing for the Japanese O-shogatsu (New Year) break.
For your convenience, I’ve put together a PDF showing which auctions will be running when. As you can see, the last day of major activity is December 28th. The New Year gets off to a slow start with a few auctions on Friday January 6th, and then a few more on the 7th.
Once we get to Monday January 9th, we are back to the normal schedule again — and heading into Spring when volumes tend to spike. (If you are not a Full Member yet and want to make sure you can start your buying during the “peak season” of Spring, please click here to get started).
Please note that not only will our office be closed for a lot of the period when the auctions are offline, but also so will most or all of our suppliers. Even urgent matters may not be able to be resolved until the second week of January due to shipping company or other offices being closed. We apologize for that and thank you for your patience in advance.
