Japan Car Auction Schedule for Obon, August 2014

The car auctions in Japan follow the practice of most Japanese business of closing in the middle of August for the summer Obon holiday. Since there are many different auction groups, the times they close are not all exactly the same, so we have checked with all of them to find out which will be open and which closed, and on which days.

As you can see, most auctions will be closed during the period from August 11th, 2014 until August 18th, 2014. There are some auctions that will be held then, so it’s worth keeping an eye out for cars you are after in these auctions simply because there will be less competition during this holiday period.
