Onboard Nissan's Leaf Racer Around Le Mans

Audi and Peugeot brought diesel to the Le Mans 24 hour race a number of years ago, and thrilled the crowd with a pitched battle this year – with Audi taking the final crown.

But perhaps the diesel cars of today will be overtaken by the next level of racing efficiency in Le Mans races of the future? The parade lap of this last weekend’s race showcased a forerunner of future electric Le Mans winners – the Nissan Leaf RC.

    Didn’t anyone else notice the unusual sound near the end – I think something fell off and was dragging !!
