SUV Takes on Nissan GT-R

OK, so this is a bit of a cheat by Hennesey: The Escalade is turbo-charged and has 1,000 horsepower… and the drive of the stock GT-R clearly has rather (deliberately) slow reactions when getting off the line. But it is still fun to watch. After all, who would have thought that an SUV could drag race quite so well?

Of course, as soon as any corner is encountered, the Escalade is going to be in big trouble and end up wrapped around a tree, so all that power is pretty pointless. And don’t tell me about all that extra interior space the SUV must have: Surely it must be a two seater with the rest of the space taken up by a giant fuel tank, as the already appalling fuel economy must now be diminished by a factor of 10 at least.
