This is how bidding works - bidding is an art. The skill of the bidder is to get the car at the best price. And each button click is a bid — often against many competing bidders all round Japan.
Click too fast and you may pay too much.
But, click too slowly and you lose a car to a competitor.
Sometimes, several bidders may even click all at the same time — and price appears to jump suddenly — sending you soaring over your expected budget.
So what choices do we have when we get near your max bid?
- We could hold back … but then miss getting the car right at the top of your budget.
- We could keep bidding … but then what if the price suddenly jumps and we’re suddenly over the limit of what you want to pay?
With Integrity Exports you avoid both of these problems. Talk about getting to have your cake and eat it ...
We stay within your bidding budget
... no matter what
Under your max?
This is exactly what we charge you - however cheap it is.
Right on?
Then we charge you exactly what the bid was.
...Over your max?
We charge you your max bid, then and we pay the rest out of our own pockets.
How our "Never Over" guarantee protects you
If we get the car for your budget or less, then this is exactly what we charge you. And if we end up over your max (whoops!) what happens?
We charge you the most you were willing to pay, and then cover the rest ourselves.
But how does that work in real life? Let me show you.
Let’s say you find a nice Toyota and ask us to bid up to 400,000 Yen auction price max. There are three different ways we could end up buying the car for you, below your max bid, at your max bid, or over your max bid:
Scenario 1 – We get the car under your max. Let's imagine we get it for 343,000 Yen auction price. Yay! You’re 57,000 Yen under your budget. If you’ve done your sums right, that’s an extra 57,000 Yen profit for you.
Scenario 2 – We get the car for exactly 400,000 Yen auction price. Well, we are right on your budget limit but, again, if you’ve done your sums right, you’re in profit.
Scenario 3 – We get the car for 412,000 Yen auction price. Oops. A little over there with the tough competition. But what do we charge you for the car? 412,000? No! You’re invoiced 400,000 Yen for the car and we cover that extra 12,000 Yen out of our own pockets.
I’m sure you’re getting it now: When you bid with us, you’re 100% certain that you’ll get the car for your budgeted max or less … never more.
How other car exporters leave you out of pocket
Let me tell you how other exporters solve the problem (to their benefit). Have you ever a received an email like this?
“Hey, we got the car for you. Isn’t that great! The thing is, bidding was really tight… and we just did that one extra click, but the price jumped. The thing is we went 15,000 Yen over your budget. Sorry …. You don’t mind, do you?”
“You don’t mind?” Of course you mind! Sure you got the car, but they’ve just gone and eaten into your profit margin without even asking permission.
And then there's this other kind of email. Ever received one of these?
"I'm really sorry, but bidding was really competitive right up to near your max. I know how you hate it when we go over your budget, so I held back and, unfortunately, that car ended up being sold to someone else for 10,000 JPY under your max."
This may be how the other guys do it, but that's not how we do it here at Integrity Exports.
