Elena
Elena is based in Barcelona, Spain and is a native speaker of both Spanish and Catalan. After spending a year in the UK (at the University of Sheffield) and one year in Okinawa, Japan as an elite scholarship student, she graduated in 2006 as valedictorian.
After doing a master's course in Conference Interpreting from English and French, she entered Yamaha Motor Spain as the company's in-house translator and interpreter. She spent four-and-a-half years there translating technical information and facilitating communication between Japanese and local staff.
Currently, she works as a freelance translator and interpreter while teaching Japanese part-time at her alma mater, the Autonomous University of Barcelona. As you can see in the photo, she is also in demand as a translator with manufacturers for their new car launches -- in this case, the Lamborghini Aventador S.

I am currently living in Slovenia, in Europe, while working as a translator for Integrity Export.
My languages are mainly English, Japanese and basic Slovene.
I also have many hobbies and interests, such as hiking, tennis, swimming and photography.
