Japanese car auctions use a grading system to help the bidder understand the overall quality level of the car. While grades 7, 8, 9 and S refer to basically brand new cars with only delivery mileage, cars graded 6 are in a similar condition but may have slightly more KM on the odometer.

In the video, I talk you through the auction sheet of a typical grade 6 car at auction in Japan. This one is a Nissan Juke with just under 6,000KM on the clock.
