Sadly, the coolest car of the show won’t be sold here. Transmission maker Aisin brought along this Dihatsu Copen – it makes a Fiat 500 look enormous.

I presume the production version will have a door on it.
What’s a Dihatsu? I only know Daihatsu.
It’s a Daihatsu incorrectly spelled on an iPhone keyboard
What’s “revealed” here? Looks like the same Copen that’s been on the market for years.
I will have one with the doors please; I assume that’s an optional extra but for snow days it would be swell to have them.
A Daihatsu/Dihatsu Copen isn’t really that cool (even with an ironic ‘cool’). They are tiny as and not particularly fast. I think they are only 700cc. Not that cheap either, at least not outside of Japan.
Ugh why does it have two big square TV’s in the dash?
It’s the new all-glass Garmin 1000 avionics system. So that when you throw it out your office window, whoever’s inside will be able to navigate.
