Japanese Car Auction Finds: 1976 Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-EX (GC111)
I mentioned the classic Japanese sports cars in an earlier post, and here is a 1976 Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-EX in the auction today. It is a grade 3.5, which is about as good as you can reasonably expect at this kind of age.
Let’s take a look at the Japanese car auction inspector’s report. (We provide translations like this for our customers prior to bidding):
“Interior B, aftermarket 14 inch alloy wheels (Enkei Baja), 2 leather-covered Recaro seats, engine head cover newly painted in red, had 83,000KM (true KM unknown) noted on auction sheet when it was auctioned in October 2009 so true KM unknown, fully repainted in blue metallic with the inside of the bonnet painted black, steering wheel worn, exterior paintwork has waves, some trim loose, minor scratches minor dents and corrosion, minor interior grime, area of rust and corrosion underneath, rear fender arches have been cut, right front and left front inner panels have minor corrosion, two wheel caps missing, ride height is possibly lowered, possibly has aftermarket suspension, front windscreen stone scratches, lower panel edge bent just behind front left wheel, corrosion and scratches as per car map [see bottom right of auction sheet].”
